Diversity is what makes life worth living. It is God\'s artwork. No two humans the same. the breadth of colors and shapes in Nature that stimulate the eye, and Man\'s multitude of creations that we call art, all add to and give reason for living. A lovely poem, Fay, that captures and expounds on that glory of \"Difference.\" - Phil A.

Survival.
Garry said:

The urge to survive is strong within everything. One of the founders of modern couselling, Carl Rogers, had a lot to say about this. He would have apprecited the sentiments of the poem and also the quality of the writing that expressed them. I certainly did.

The spirit of trees is amazing. I have a tree that started growing out from a rocky ledge. Growing in a rock. Now, 45 years later, it\'s still there, still growing, a lovely Maple. Withstood blizzards, huge amounts of snow and ice, high winds, and occasional droughts. There must be something we can learn from them. A great write, Fay. - Phil A.

Cobweb when becomes old and dusty still spider keeps a position in it. Fine precision-knifed filaments are well observed here. Tensile wires are cleverly glued. Repairing this next preparation is well made. Brilliant imagery is drawn in this poem.

Raindrops are gems, and so is this poem. Pearls, diamonds, crystaline orbs, how many forms can water take? To the poetic eye, whatever the mind can imagine. A wonderful concept brought to fruition in a dramatic manner. I never sensed rain, only gems and colors galore. Wonderful. - Phil A.

WATER FAY is a far from simple substance ! Just H2O but because it has a positive (HYDROGEN) and negative (OXYGEN) ends ( H~O~H ) it sticks to itself and forms the alluring drops you mention. They can bejewel a Spider\'s Web or trace patterns on windows. each glittering orb is a PRISM and can split sunlight into a spectrum R-O-Y-G-B-I-V ! Which is how rainbows form. AND (as you say) rain drops really do stir the muse ! A true poet sees not only a rainbow ~ but also an ODE ~ in a humble raindrop. Love all you poems & pictures FAY ~ Yours B
