When my daughters began to date I insisted on meeting each boy sat them down and told them clearly that I was depending on them and their maturity to have my daughter back on time and protect her while out. When their future husbands came to propose again sat them down and warned them first that they could not afford their tastes but if they chose to try they had to support them well and if I ever heard they had hurt them in any way no one would ever find their body. Worked out well
