Wonderful emotive write da. So much is said in the poetry that is written on this site that would not be shared anywhere else. That is the release that poetry gives us.

What an amazing write.
You have vividly painted the revival of passion..

“the early hours reach out
And crawl to the light of dawn
Where hearts lay fragile, tender
Beneath a quilt of fear”

I love the lines above, I feel the blissful vulnerability of this moment ❤️

It hurt to read this, I definitely relate having built a beautiful boat to watch it fall apart. Quite beautifully done.

You were right dusk, our minds were running on the same thread today. Love the last line \'a raft of reeds falling apart upon your waves\' .

Such a clever description of love and lies as a frail raft Dusk - and I love being reminded of Kon Tiki (which actually held up pretty well for most of the journey)....

Very good emotive write, those who lie remove any trust that may have been with them.

hello dusk rising .. i cannot help but LOVE this ! i love how you mention colours, the colour blue and gold and your reference to you / your heart as being like a train now again ready to depart, no longer on hold for love but accepting its arrival and moving forwards .. your ending line is beautiful

\'\'emboldened love reassures
in passion now re-born
and hesitation \'ere within
lifts her veil and disappears\'\'

i love how you speak of of your hesitation being like a girl with a veil..

a truly enjoyable read ..

Sounds like one of those encounters that turn the everyday grayness into color. A turning point in life, you say hello, you talk, you sit by the river, you age together... and you blink and it was all in your head; a ten minute life, imagined happiness before the color fades again. I get that a lot. :) Enjoyable moments, why bother trying to make it real? Is there a difference between fantasy and a memory?
