A wonderfully magical scene your pen painted today Lorna - - could imagine so easily I was there on the night August moon made her lake-ballet by here own light. - - a thrilling read

Lorna,

Great quote and song!

With my eyes closed, Iā€™m enjoying those breezes and gentle kisses! Thank you for sharing your great poem with such beautiful words!

One of my favorite lines...
ā€œAnd sewn a patchwork of love
Out of the nothingness of airā€...

Romances and pairings can teach us such a lot about ourselves. Especially when a feeling of freedom descends upon us after a failed pairing.
Such strong writing from you today.

Lorna,

Sing to your heartā€™s content!
Let the music play!

Like that Simon & Garfunkel song.

Anytime I see that Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme album cover, it reminds me of roast pork and potatoes!
That reminds me to put down the iPhone and start cooking!

In my collection of poems are several which recall very happy times with lovers who broke my heart in the end. All were written recently, long after heartaches ceased. They are a reminder of pure joy and love in the happiest days of my life. Reading them brings it all back. I do hope that when i am much older and my memory does its floundering thing, reading them will still bring back the memories.
Why do i write all this, well they are my settings in a \'jewel like ring\' and tho they are not many, they are the \'songs i do sing\'. They are set free nonetheless.
Lovely flow to your poem.

Lorna,

Not good to be sad...
for too long!
We have to let go and
remember the happy
and joyous times we
shared together!

Loved the video! She
was so inspirational...
and she still inspires
through her music!
