Into Quietness

we emerge, wiser
with a little bit more density
to our heart\'s
and a lot more, sensitivity
in our awareness
and as we sand by the backdoor
looking out at regret\'s, desolate yard
we must remember
to keep our front door, wide open
and clean
ready, and with an enduringly
hopeful heart
awaiting...!
