That too makes me angry, how anybody can hurt anybody else is such a dreadful thing in my mind.

If it was not such a serious theme - it\'s my fault!
My version is: I made her kiss me, nothing more. Well I had just been eating garlic! lol.

I share your anger on this subject. Not least for the reputation it casts upon the innocent male majority. But of course mainly anger on behalf of the violated.

A carving out of the self. This leaves a mark on any reader/writer. When one has come into their own and became their own writing perhaps? Very deep, very profound sir.

got eggnog\'s on me mind
but me cream is all askew
so I\'ll borrow Neville\'s advice
and brew his recipe anew, \'yey!\'
a horse hair for cinnamon stick
a lengthy twine for sugar cane
a baited trap for my Quarry
a broken twig and wire
to boarder Boris, in his
Quarantine borders... (for once)
all served
with a side of poached eggs
in Rum...
(thanks for inspiring my little scribbled reply, my friend
great Fun!)

Poesy, our beloved
\'what\'s in a muse
but for a flicker, lullaby
from wings, of a butterfly\'
sincerity\'s inked words
have a tendency to fly...
(simply Brilliant, dear Poet
I think I break-up with my muse
every afternoon, and wake-up
at 3am, under that judgemental
moonlight gaze
to make-up, scribbling
like it\'s my very fist time...)

Do not fret my friend, the muse wanders but never goes too far. It does like to return at the most inconvenient of times though. Excellent write🙂

It’s hard to say that your muse is gone
Who can stay to hide the shine from sun
So who can stop praising the words you weave
A man with less words but so much emotions
Where each word is engulfed with waves of emotions and feels
But yes often I wonder if the muse is gone, what shall happen to me
For so long it wasn’t there
Now if it goes I can’t seem to find purpose then
Your poetry never lacks the gleam
The sheen you carry with your pen
The mightier it is
Your poetry always a treasure dear Neville

How could a muse forsake thee who weaves words so endearingly wrapped for the pleasure of readers - - be not broken by dottings and crossing of T\'s dearling friend for she who fell madly in love with your kind of wordlings will badly miss inspiring romantic lines of intrigue that only you write - - after a wee while of rest methinks her allure will infuse your scribing again for believe me she will allow no signing out permanently for a poet with such rich artistic talent...............x

I had a visit from my muse last evening which was so refreshing. She\'s been away for far too long. Will she stay? I know not.

Your\'s on the other hand is playing games with us. Clearly from your excellent post today she is present and correct..... with her usual tease.

A good writing , Neville .. I like how you have expressed yourself .

sometimes we feel like we have lost a talent or come to the end of something … but maybe we just lose the inspiration to write . It may still be there within us , we just have to somehow find it again . Sadness happens and we feel like something changes in us

Thanks for your kind words in your comments

And happy Christmas to you too ))

What were the probabilities that we’d still be here, through the Cold War, the Hippie Generation, the Digital Apocalypse, the multitude of Financial calamities, the scare of many a Pandemic, and yet we are, but when will the realization hit us.

The poetry laces with reality
Can’t deny what it speaks
The harsh reality
Humanity’s facing
Got the vaccine, got the mask
But who knows when the lingering virus shall attack?
Spoken the truth with a poetry
The words speak the iron truth dear Neville
