Can\'t Kill the Flame
Thomas W Case said:

Hey, my friend, this grips me by the collar—gritty and unflinching, like walking barefoot on broken glass.
You’ve got that stubborn ember burning through the gray, refusing to die, and I feel every damn step.

Can\'t Kill the Flame
Paul Bell said:

As humans, we persevere, no matter what it seems, even if life still kicks us down and down.
Martyrs to the cause as they lower you into the grave, though, tomorrow is another day.

Dimensions

Deeply philosophical this poem speaks of three dimensions when we know there are more. I am working on a poem closely related, not sure if I will have it ready tomorrow but within a couple of days. Good write my friend

A poem that leaves feelings of trepidation and sense of doom. Nicely worded this poem speak of a modern world where instant communication places us on a precipice of worry a cravasse between us and safety with crumbling edges that threaten our demise. Well written

A Gentleman is Just a Patient Wolf
sorenbarrett said:

Another wonderful poem Gray and so true it is indeed. Patience is a virtue they say and so society regards it when hunting prey whether animal or human. They say men are dogs the savage ancestor the wolf. Man\'s best friend domesticated for thousands of years has developed patience. A wolf too is patient when hunting and perseverant chasing down its prey. Ever hungry the wolf is stealthy as most women know. A fave

Fountains and Drains
sorenbarrett said:

Brilliant!! magnificent Gray I felt this one in context with the state of the world today and how we are split in beliefs and views shuffled together. How we all cast light and darkness without knowing how we affect others. There are so many that need pulling and giving never seems to end. Hope wears thin with years of wear. Drained we remain unsure of which way to go. As we return home to where we all came from never getting the answers we seek we have choices to make with no way of going back or changing what we do. Very deep my friend and a definite fave
