Mutley, this reads as a meditation on transmission across time and culture. Doctrine, resistance, peace, and embodiment all braid together, suggesting that β€œprecious cargo” is wisdom carried through bodies, eras, and unexpected vessels. The footnote widens the lens without breaking the spell. Love it.πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

Mutley, this reads as a critique of consumption masquerading as vitality. Power feeds, bodies tire, wisdom warns, and what once felt volcanic ends in erosion. The poem traces that arc with sharp, unsentimental focus. Well done. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

The enlightenment of the footnote was most helpful. A poem that\'s meaning unravels and it unfolds. Lovely

So very true! Wish the wise would wind down that wonderfully and willingly. But too many are focused on what those that know too much are willing to satisfy them with. The crumbs of their over feasting. Talk about hubris in the extreme!

My friend, this is clever and quietly prophetic…the rush of technology, the severed connection, the sideways glance at where it all leads. It reads light, but it lands heavy. Well played, Mutley. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

Sometimes coincidence is just too much to understand. My poem today seems eerily related to this one. Creepy, not this poem the connection. This poem definitely caught my attention. Very nicely written

Seductions of Identification

My friend, this reads like a quiet revelation. The seed becomes a traveler, a survivor, a witness…ending up right where it needs to be. Simple and profound. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

Sounds like a marketing ploy and technology to some processed food. This may apply as a metaphor for many other things as well. Scary thought

Who is I am Addicted?
Tristan Robert Lange said:

I\'ll answer that question if you tell me where I Am Insane went, he took my pencil to sharpen his computer. πŸ€£πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Now, that silliness aside. This is a profoundly important piece, my friend. It gets to the heart of something vitally important to me...labels and the negative effect they can have. Who is \"I Am Addicted\"? Who is \"I Am Overweight?\" This could be asked of so many different things and...the question becomes, are these labels helpful or harmful? Your poem gets into that and, I think, acknowledges that, indeed, there is something their to the label, and that \"something\" is affecting someone and stealing their light. Indeed. But label itself can go both ways and lock people away from light that was never stolen to begin with. So, not sure if I am close or now spiraling through the Outer Rim in hyperspace...but your poem (all 9 lines of it) got me thinking about all of this. Fantastic write, my friend!
