There is something about this poem that is quite visual and intense. The poem lifts only a veil of its meaning though at the same time is one of those that can be sensed or felt, like a key turning into a locket finally unlocking a hidden door.

Here(pardon the pun) is a heavy poem. Word play makes for great meaning (down can be directional and emotional) a wonderful write.

\"The weight you bear is heavy, Pressed deep into weary bones. Round and roundโ€”endless motion, Yet still nowhere to call home.
Let the silence ease your shoulders, Let the wind take what it may. Ascension isnโ€™t always climbingโ€” Some burdens fall and drift away.\"
Your words resonate with quiet power.

Hmmm. Yes. Usually through the guise of division. Satan has that divide and conquer tactic that seems to working at the speed of hellfire on this earth. Thought-provoking, my friend!

A most interesting poetic thought that provokes the idea the on this earth I am the Satan not bowing to the will of my creator and at times my mother. Loved the poem Mutley I always love poems that make me think in new ways

Hahaha! Well, I cannot but love this pretty number. Nor shall I enquire about your other half. But it was only a few hours ago I was reciting to my best friend the warning they\'d given me in my youth, namely, [seeing my father was perpetually under the hood of his car, van, whatever, at junk yards for parts and in my adulthood buying vehicles to refurbish, not to mention tinkering with any device since his childhood, knowing how to repair and etc.] that girls whose daddys fixed cars were bound to marry boys who couldn\'t use a wrench to save their lives. I shivered at that. Okay, enough of cheeky me. Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a delightful poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

A great metaphor here. Knowing one\'s limitations is critical in knowing what to turn over to those that are trained. A wonderful write.
