A poem of fantasy that may well be a metaphor and in its humor and redacted obscenity sends a message. A fun read and mind provoking

The last line makes it sound like we might already know. A well-written metaphor that goes far deeper than the human renal system. And I love the fact that \"inhaling\" is used along with kidneys. Inhaling = lungs not kidneys...yet it makes perfect sense because the inhalation of smoke doesn\'t just kill the lungs, now does it? The body is all connected. Again, brilliant metaphor, my friend.

Ah the metaphor in this one goes deeper than the kidneys. Yes indeed who is inhaling the smoke?

This image-rich poem speaks of the immense life-creating power of the Creator, drawing up images of the dry bones being brought to life in Ezekiel, among other gems. Well done on this, my friend! β€οΈπŸ™

A frightening thought for those who have undergone menses and now like Sarah of Old Testament surprisingly give birth in old age. What a thought. Metaphorically it is another thing productive births of ideas are generated out of the old. Nicely done Mutley

Well, at least, you rascal, this pretty little number echoing as it were a post from Saturday, gave me some interesting and enlightening research to indulge in before I belatedly caught your drift. Cute. Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a damning poignancy. Thank you for sharing, you rascal.

In my dullness this one seemed a bit cryptic but I loved the feel of the words and how they rolled out. A very pleasant feel to this read that has a bit of an aged feel.
