Until Death Right

This poem has a powerful feel to it. It speaks as if out of the shadows and the grave it is dark, but yet strong. Nicely written and a fave

These are hard words to hear because I have heard the last few lines from cutters before. The pain gives meaning to life and indeed it does as a contrast to joy but to self inflict bothers me. This poem holds deeper existential meaning and is very nicely done

This poem seems both surreal and existential. It unspools as if it were tempered wire springing off a reel. Nicely done

My Apprehension

A great write and when fear takes on form it often transforms into paranoia. A poem of haunting proportions and with a frightening scope. Nicely worded

One Book Same Page Different Day
sorenbarrett said:

The metaphor of a book as that of life with each day a page works well in this poem where life is written one page at a time. Meanings change as new is added but just enough to shift with it as well

Blind Love
sorenbarrett said:

Nicely worded Anthony this poem in metaphor speaks of a powerful set force that guides despite blindness. Blindness a misnomer as it sees better without eyes. Nicely written

I have always been intrigued with symbols and this poem takes that to another level weaving them into poetry. It seems almost a symbol itself in its ritual like laying out of its lines and setting forth its symbols. Very nicely done

A Pool Of My Tears
sorenbarrett said:

Beautiful Anthony this poem calls for recognition not sadness it is a reflection itself. It feels a bit melancholy but need not be so maybe it is the nostalgia mistaken for sadness. Well done

O Love Save Me
sorenbarrett said:

Touching and tender this seems the plea of a child, maybe the child in all of us, asking for someone to understand and be there. Very nicely written it calls out for affiliation.

The Baker Of The Doughnut Donut Shop

Such a wonderful poem of creation. The baker god who hands out treats to those that can pay and maybe once in a while to one who can\'t. Loved the story and metaphor Anthony

Running Mind
sorenbarrett said:

This feels mechanical and sterile a cold and heartless world where everything is matter of fact. It brings images of the book 1984 and maybe Huxley\'s Brave New World. It is metallic. Well done

Life As We Know It

A wonderful write that reminds us of how we are all etched in that stone how our footprints blown away by the wind and eroded by rain still remain in some way. A lovely write my friend.
