Fascinating metaphorical representation. Excellent! A tad intriguing, but delightfully expressed, bitterly beautiful. I like it.

Sweet! I love how you used the heavenly rulers to depict the situation you concluded with....in such a delightful little tercet. Beautifully done. I enjoyed it.

Unhope
Cheeky Missy said:

Wow. Impressive how you've excellently depicted longing hopeless desire....I love how well you did it...and your concluding couplet is so perfect....the great distance, chill, fervent passion, hope, light, allure, discouragement, subtle effort, soaring, sinking, dreaming futilely....your metaphorical depiction is delightfully apt. I quite enjoyed this.

I Have Decided
Cheeky Missy said:

Whoa! It got rather erotic in the second stanza. Sweet....I love the progression of thought; delightful that she painted you on her heart....too romantic! Beautiful and delightful!

Drowning
Cheeky Missy said:

Oooh. I like it. You are losing yourself, drowning in love, as it were, falling hopelessly in love, to lose the life you knew and find it in love, right? Fascinating! Rather delightful contemplation.

Love’s Prisoner
Cheeky Missy said:

Beautiful and fascinating....love's prisoner...impressive. I like all you used to express the delicious bondage....almost erotic....sweet. This was very enjoyable!

Cheeky Missy said:

Wow. Marvelous the enticing description you've given to express your desire for her....very fascinating! A study in ecstasy with a touch of frustration, of illegality, and eroticism, very passionate....I loved all the images you used to express your desire....it's so perfect. I quite enjoyed it!

Congruence
Cheeky Missy said:

Ah, so delightfully romantic! I hope she likes it. Such an alluring, enticing, endearing call of love, all-consuming forever love....your symbolism is so delightful, all the things you poetically want to be, loving her.....very, very nicely expressed. Excellent!!! Delightful, beautiful, well-written. I quite enjoyed picturing all you described,...it's a sweet poem!

Forbidden Love
Cheeky Missy said:

Intriguing, fascinating, enticing, provocative,....rather fearful in that it is forbidden and we can only pretend when we want so very much....we want ALL....except...what?...we don't want all, only now, forever is unthinkable...is that what it is? I quite enjoyed it, yet one feels wary for the implied naughtiness of it.

The Offer
Cheeky Missy said:

Aw. This is soo good...and still 10/9 days 'til the lover's holiday of Valentines Day...la, you should've saved this sweet piece...or is there more honeyed poetry in store for that day? I quite enjoyed this tribute to adoring love! Beautiful, made me smile happily (even now), delightful! Loved it!!! Every stanza with fresh images in honour of the beauty you worship....so delightfully poetic......Excellent!

I can’t give you more
Cheeky Missy said:

This is so very beautiful, enticing, alluring....and yet....is it wrong for her to ask the promise of forever...never letting her go...belonging in truth to him, before she blythely yields all to him in the ecstasy of his unbounded love, as expressed herein? I very much enjoyed this delightfully rather enchanting call of the heart to the heart, and thus are my misgivings. Excellent....so very well expressed, you have the reader in your palm.

Broken
Cheeky Missy said:

Very fascinating. Delightful. Beautiful, bitterSWEET. Heartbroken with love for the elusive her....who apparently can string him along so promisingly, yet so dishearteningly. But he is so passionately taken that he virtually vows to love her forever, regardless.....ah, how romantic! I quite enjoyed your symbolism, how you so eloquently expressed the situatio, and your wonderfully poetic conclusion....absolutely delightful!!!

Control
Cheeky Missy said:

"Control Freaks." La, but you described the ugly character so delightfully rythmically, it was a pleasure to read, in spite of the chilling, conclusive condemning description. I hope I never fall into those shoes, for you've denounced them so excellently. I love your concluding stanza....such a fitting warning against falling into this temptation to screw oneself screwing others. Excellent!!! I enjoyed this!

Solitary Tree
Cheeky Missy said:

Fascinating...and for all it is sad, yet even so, delightful! Your symbolism/metaphors(?) carried my imagination to all these sorrowful images and scenes so like a photo album or movie, or better yet, a slow, wandering trek through all the lonely, forgotten places to just sit, mournfully alone, contemplating sorrowfully/hopelessly. Your image of the tree is of course only too fitting. All the images you conjured up were mournfully delightful to contemplate. Maybe it is like the mournful cry of the oboe which I so dearly love, but I enjoyed this poem very much.

Cheeky Missy said:

Wow. You do write lovely romantic poems! Your girl could fall for you, but she sounds so perfectly just out of reach to make you love her all the more for not being such an easy prey, yet hopefully not too aloof to spoil her own possible happiness. Ah, it's a dangerous piece. Excellent!!!!

The Gift of Love
Cheeky Missy said:

Delightfully romantic call to your lady-love! I quite enjoyed it. You crafted it fascinatingly with the imaginative story...leading into the expression of your interest...very sweetly done...would she might not reject it. It seems a piece suitable for many a lover and you've written it beautifully. The title is so perfect...for indeed, love is truly a gift...Excellent!

Nightwalk
Cheeky Missy said:

You drew the scene so very well that I was there, from the first stanza, half-loving the lonely stroll, trudging unseen meditatively longing....hearing and feeling it all. You expressed it so perfectly, that if it is only imaginary....congratulations! You made it so very real. I much enjoyed it....I love it so well, I hate to think it only a moment in my imagination.

Impossible
Zojinjo said:

You show a life in pain, carrying a burden too much for one to hold. It's a way many people feel in life, only now, it's a poem that we read and we can like. Very good work indeed.

Only thing bothering me a bit is the title, for I believe "Impossible" doesn't exist. Everything is possible. Then again, so is failing...

January 27th, 2011 13:46

Impossible
Cheeky Missy said:

Wow. You very well depicted the situation of many so delightfully poetically. And the crushing burden is indeed only too much to bear, fit to destroy the burdened, except they be delivered by Him Who is mighty to save...the Lord Himself, as Belinda alludes. Excellent!
