This poem reminds me not just of your skilled writing ability for seeds to survive, but also the same thing happens within any form of life. What a remarkable quote/stanza you wrote resembling all forms of life as I mentioned. \"Next generation once weaned wings away from the breast\'s cloistered past. In standing erect most off spring cling not to parental mastery\". I believe every living thing is captured brilliantly in your work. Great stuff, Fay Slimm,

A good write Fay. School \'detention\' can be unfair, if the whole class is punished because of one or two offenders. Oh, the shame of it - I even got caught up in a whole-class detention. Of course it all has to be PC these days, for snowflakes!

\'In the bleak mid winter\' as the old hymn has it.
Many little creatures will not survive but it is amazing that most do, and we call these wonderful creatures \'pest\'.
Your words enhance the shudder brought on with this current freeze up.

My Dear Fay,

Regardless of the ‘misalignment’ as you say, this write is spot on!
As the song goes...
“Baby it’s cold outside”...
Your sentiments, however, are full of warmth, love and caring for nature’s wonderful creatures.
Unfortunately, they have to withstand these sub freezing conditions in many parts of the world! (-17C in NY last night.) We’re ok in our heated homes. They’re on their own to weather this weather! I feel sadness for those who are helpless and can’t survive!
Thank you for sharing!

~Laura~

A fine write Fay. About six months ago we were sweating in a heatwave! Shall we all dash to NZ, as in Brian & Angela\'s poem? Me good deed? I spotted a big friendly tom cat that roams around. I called it indoors, dried the snow from off it, and it stayed on me bed a couple of hours.

For me, when things go wrong and painful, i look back at the shared joys which hightened the pain. Yes the pain is undenyable, the pleasure though.... is unforgettable.
And in writing of those joys, as I have in MPS, certain key phrases take my mind and soul back.... like the scent of Barley fields roasting beneath blazing June.
......deja vu

Excellent written poem. It\'s an unfortunate blunder mankind has yet to learn, that the trees, forests and all the beautiful nature help conserve our survival. Unfortunately greed has an eye at every corner we error to mirror...
