A MASTERPIECE FAY ~ In Structure & Subject. It is a FLUID POEM and the verses reflect this in their rhythm ~ rhyme ~ half rhyme & resonance. The verse length, looks random (4~2~3~3~5~2) BUT ~ when I recited it aloud it wasn\'t ! It was dictated, mystically, by the narrative and was perfect. At my age & stage poetically, I marvel, but never seek to compete !
WATER is an awesome COMPOUND on which all LIFE on EARTH depends ~ which is belied by the simplicity of its molecular structure H~O~H. Liquid water is fluid and adopts any shape ~ it also reflect light from its undulating surface ! It is these properties (and others) which produce all the mini-miracles which scintillate throughout your gem ! Sparky diamonds ~ Liquid glass ~ Sunbeams exposed stars ~ Quivers of brilliant glitter ~ Radiant winking jewels. I love the denouement \"Then breezes died and sun in hiding ~ meant the dancing was done ~ AMEN\". Your POETRY FAY is both an Inspiration and a Blessing to us all. Thanks for caring & sharing ~ I say to myself ~ What a Wonderful World ~ Yours as always BRIAN & ANGELA.

This is quite a subject. I have known someone who was instinctively wise and of little learning - how do you judge - I am not wise enough to answer that one. Lol Yet another super work from the pen of Fay.

THANKS FAY ~ for a beautifully and sympathetically worded poem addressed to the plight of the stranded DOLPHINS. Had they been some ugly and deadly scavengers of the deep we might have been less empathetic ~ BUT ~ DOLPHINS the most beautiful & gentle of creatures and with a great empathy with HUMANS. But they have died ~ more sacrifices to the ANTHROPOGENIC RAPE of the environment. Global Warming ~ Climate Change ~ Sea Level Rise all take their toll on Nature ~ WHEN WILL WE EVER LEARN ~ WHEN WILL WE EVER LEARN. Thanks for caring & sharing ~ Yours as always ~ BRIAN. Please check ANGELA\'s Poem for today NEW ZEALAND IS CALLING ME ~ Thanks B

My dear Fay,

A beautiful emotive write!

The pic reminds me of my maternal grandparents’ cottage in Italy! Beautiful childhood memories!
The thing I still remember is the smell of the gingerbread cookies baking in their stone oven! Yum, yum, yummy!
Unfortunately it doesn’t exist any longer! It was leveled to the ground by an earthquake...but the memories will live on!

Your words are befitting my memory of the visits to that cottage and of my grandparents!

“Love feels just the same.
Fond memories re-claim
The fun times enjoyed”...

Very moving. Indeed what scenes have been witnessed by the rooms we inhabit. Who planted the tree we fell in love beneath and why?
All fodder for the romantic poet of which you are a fine example as you take us again today into a romantic world of fondest memory.

AWAKENING.
BRIAN & ANGELA said:

HELLO FAY: Its 7am here in AUCKLAND (NZ) and I just getting ready for work. I have my first Physio Clinic at 10am (NZ Time). Your lovely Cornish Poem & Picture about Brother Sun made me smile. Its the middle of Winter here (10C = 50F) and showery but we do get some lovely Sunrises & Sunsets (due to the Clouds & Mountains). The temperature will rise to 14C = 57F this afternoon and we will get some SUN but no SUNBURN. Because Auckland is sub-tropical we dont get snow or frost in Winter in the North of N Island. It gets colder as you go SOUTH : CRAZY! BRIAN tells me youve been having a real Indian Summer up to 35C (95F) some days and up to 45C (113F) in Spain : God Forbid! Love your warnings about SUNBURN. Patients with REAL BURNS need a lot if PHYSIO but severe Sunburn can also damage skin and restrict movement. My Beloved BRIAN will be here on MONDAY MORNING (NZ TIME) I still cant believe it. Please pray for a safe JOURNEY : Love & Blessings ANGELA XXXX
