Thank you FAY for a beautifully sculptures Sound Poem in five honed verses ! It is a Seasonal poem and focusses on the season of migration ! As Humans ~ once we \"put down our roots \" we stay put ~ some of my 70+ Friends still live in the house they were born in ! Verses two & three capture some of the agony and ecstasy of Bird Migration and many die in the process ! In verse four you celebrate ~ the stability of sheep ! Also our non-migratory birds ! In verse five you celebrate the Birds return ! Thanks for caring FAY and thanks for sharing ~ You are a great blessing to all MPS Members and you always pen a masterpiece ! I could HEAR the Picture and the Poem ! Yours as ever BRIAN

My Dear Poetess Fay...
Super write! The metaphors
create an imagery as explosive as that
unloading ocean!
Worth reading many times!
Brilliant!

The call of the siren, not to be taken lightly, but with extreme caution, for escape may not be possible. Oh, but to die a thousand deaths. To die in the fire of passion, is to live again. Sultry and sweet, a delicious poem. - Phil A.

Thanks FAY ~ I\'m pleased to be back and have the opportunity to unlock the meaning(s) in your latest poem ! In my experience Night has always followed Day (except once when I was in the North Cape on 21st June ~ The SUN almost set ~ and then came back up again ~ awesome !). Each ~ sentence commencing word has a different connotation of night fall ! DARK ~ does indeed descend (erupt) fast (too fast sometimes ?) ~ DUSK ~ certainly enfolds ! and NIGHT surely creeps ~ shuts out the LIGHT ~ and then ~ shuts in the DARK ! A perfect description form a very observant POET ! Love the Cornish Sunset ~ a perfect complimentary visual ~ BEAUTIFUL ~ Thanks for caring ~ Yours as always BRIAN

As my young grandson would put it, \"Dark came\", as though it were an entity unto itself rather than the absence of light. Good write on this dark subject, Fay!
