Your ability to find words which reach into our very soul and tingle the deepest emotions is astounding here. Where there are no words to describe the vastness, as you state, your words find a place which stirs within us the wonderful things we, who have loved, have felt. Belongs in my favourites.

That first stanza is so incredible and beautifully written, Fay! The whole poem is excellent, but it is that first stanza that grabbed me and is now careening around inside my head.

Fay,
The entire poem is a beauty! As a read,
it sings to the
fortunate reader...me!
My favorite line...
“Diamanté fragrance could
lift each dull day...”
You are a gifted poetess!

I can see and feel that high tide. Unfortunately we don\'t have that, the difference here between low and high tide is very small.
As usual, Fay, your word choice is exquisite.

People of your generation FAY have had the privilege of seeing much change ~ Everything is now urbanised ~ mechanised ~ pasteurised and homogenised ! I can still make real veggie soup from misshapen soily veggies my Dad brings me from his \"plot\" ! Angela (being a \"Lady\") buys her super-soup in plastic from Waiterose ! She thinks mine tastes better ! I\'ve only known Queen Elizabeth ~ My octogenarian Family & Friends have seen George V ~ Edward VIII ~ George VI and then Queen Elizabeth ! There used to be 240 pence in the pound now there are only 100 and the metre has replaced the yard and the kilogram the pound etc ! Many of the things and activities you mention in your elegant poem have been sacrificed on the altar of progress ! Thanks for caring and sharing FAY ~ You shed love and reminiscence and graciousness on this site ~ We all love you ! Yours for ever BRIAN !

\"There exists silence not found by sound,\" \"secret whispers\" of love. \"In the heart of the desert,\" \" deep under oceans.\" How many times do those without love write of being in a desert, or of feeling as though drowning? How many times do lovers write of communicating without words? I believe you have summed up the universe of Love. Wow! - Phil A.
