Yes, I used to belong to that church, and remember those services well. Cute poem on a fine marriage, Fred! You are a fortunate man.

Brilliant FRED a perfect analogy ~ although I speak from ANTICIPATION ~ not EXPERIENCE ! However your Poem perfectly mirrors my observation of my parents when I was domiciled for 18 carefree years ! Please check my tribute to ANGELA ON A BEACH ~ BRIAN

Very strong write.

In Africa at one of the shops there is a sign above a curtain. The sign says \"If you open this curtain you will see the most dangerous animal in the world!\" On pulling the curtain back there is a mirror!

Good write Fred. Meanwhile, with my KP \'wedding\' I\'m having anything but matrimonial bliss! I got me ball and chain on. It will never be removed, cos she has the key to the chain! lol.

Wouldn\'t make a good nursery rhyme, but a powerful commentary here, Fred! Looks kinda like we\'re heading down the same road as Atlantis, doesn\'t it. I\'m sure there will be enough left for the old Phoenix to rise again for another try.

With rain comes the gift of life on this planet. I try to hold onto that thought when all is wet and gloomy ... not easy is it, as your fine poem describes. Well done, Fred!

Well, it is a good write Fred. Not that it\'s particularly \'dark\'. Though \'dark\' is rarely my genre, it helps folk, we know, if they can express dark things.
Meanwhile - I wish I would express something without singing it. It only torments folk when I say \'And now a song from me\'. That\'s fairly dark and horrific. lol.
