I am also thinking about some of our pensioners who will freeze in their own homes because they can’t afford to heat them. All stuff that could easily be rectified by a government that cares about the welfare of its own people. Your brevity here creates much thought and many images Neville. A lonely existence. Imagery has always been important to me in poetry to convey thoughts and feelings. You nailed this one. Brevity can open up so much thought.
