Witches brew

Oh wow, Stevie! This is truly a masterpiece! As I read it aloud, I had to slow down so I could get in all the detail. Superb! Simply excellent! What more can I say? This really took the cake! Christina

She\'s intense, electrifying, dangerous, all wrapped up in wonderful verse, with a great zinger at the end. Love it all!

Despite the negatives, this woman sounds strong to me! She\'s gone through a lot but has come out the other side. \"still the star of the show, And the reason we all stand in line\" such a wonderful homage to this woman! She sounds wonderful. Awesome poem, Stevie!! x

Great poem, peto. It reminds me how very grateful I am to have a wonderful friend and lover without any of the encumbrances that your poem outlines. I read your poem twice. I wanted to \"user favorite\" it but don\'t know how to do so.

This poem/story is mindblowing! You pay such attention to detail. I tend to agree with Bobby O on this one! Thank you for entertaining us with poetry beyond what one would expect on a site like this....x

I love it!!! This is so beautifully sad. My kind of poetry. Forbidden or distant love. But hey, looks like a risk was taken; and that\'s better than wondering what if...maybe you opened a portal for her to get inspired, and give love/romance a chance? Thank you for sharing! ✨️

Both at once.
An honest chronicle of reaching fir the brass ting and the visualization ir ‘what ifs” that can be real and definitive.
And it’s because he asked her. Proactive behavior encouraged do maybe this is just a cool way to deliver advice?

Great writing especially like these lines

‘This year is for leaping
And letting of steam
With heads full of wonder
And stomachs in knots
They\'ll wade through the thunder
To join up the dots
What it will fashion
When push comes to shove
Is an unbridled passion
And beautiful love

I like the choice of words
Love those last lines

And so much more. I admire how you can jump into a world and as you deliver to us metaphorical tales that take in this otherworldly place we immediately see the relevancy measured in current day to day real world. That’s a style that you visit with the legacy akin to fables of AESOP. I enjoyed.

I love the way you have framed the profile of one who seems to need constant gratification/validation. Who knows why they do it, but it seems she\'s stumbled upon the one person who holds the key. Great write my friend!

For women or for men, this message is sad until the final stanza. The first two lines are very catchy! Hey. some people are out for the adrenaline rush. An excellent poem here, Stevie, a pleasure to read!!!! x

Ah, I have a sister like this, I do find this incredibly sad how a women can manipulate her way through life and I often wonder if some even realize they are doing it, but then it\'s the same way for men, my first love was.like this. I learnt so much from him, I was lucky never to have married him or have children. But I do feel for men and women who go that much further hoping it\'s love and it turns out to be a poetry book. ❤️

Ok first, this is incredible! I have to agree with Teddy....I was half singing/rapping 😆. BUT...these lines: \"Who turned off all the lights, Turned my days into nights, And my nights into hell on this land, Why would angels attack, Thought they covered my back, Guess it\'s all on my own I must stand\" are amazing! I\'m a little goth, so I feel this is right up my alley! Truly enjoyed it!

Some beautiful words in this I liked reading your poem 🙂

So much in your writing .. speaks to me of how sometimes things are just wrong and not the way their meant to be .. there’s something missing which should be there

‘ A mountain top without a peak
A linguist struggling to speak ‘

A good writing ..
