I just smiled all the way through this beautiful poem of love and pure rapture. Lucky the \"Miss\", and lucky the fellow who treasures a gift such as this. Superb!

Bringing in a hypnotic duo of rhyme and imagery, this is a great poem! Though she\'s toxic, he seems to have fallen for her. Wonderful and hypnotizing read, Stevie!

Ouch!! You just described destructive love so well. As sad as this is, it\'s oh so relatable!! I do however, feel like I\'m the one with the six inch high stiletto boot...literally!! But I promise I don\'t cause disasters...unless they\'re \"good\" disasters! πŸ˜‰

Wow utterly beautiful although incredibly sad, falling for the wrong lover and even worse marriage with must be in the toxic zone finally turning ice cold in a divorce, a harsh lesson for anyone, I\'ll take my hat off though because you have expressed it so well not just in rhyme but in imagery. πŸ’–

But also remember dwelling or being bitter makes them win every day. We only learn through pain and the only thing to do is rise from the ashes to choose a better lover.

Dear friend you strike at the heart of remembrance with this one. I lament the loss of imagination in play, and even in toys. Looking back 65 years (guess I\'ve dated myself), we made up our games, and toys did not require batteries, or worse charging. Wonderfully written, and oh so true!

And if they don’t as your words succinctly express the absence of that vigor and freshly invented determination of a tactile sort would leave a portion remiss.

I read several times, and each time I discovered more. The first 6 lines, I think, set the stage for a woman disillusioned with life. I found this very powerful. Her journey from life among the herd to a singular existence in the freedom of being is exceptional. Maybe I got it wrong, but I so enjoyed the process. Incredible write my friend.

Mmmmm incredible! Really enjoyed this one! The first word that comes to me is \"trust\". Isn\'t this what happens when a person is guarded, decides to take a risk, and trusts again? Or is it just my personal perception?
