Seems to me the name calling was a immature childish way of emotionally
inflicting hurt upon another. That was many years ago, or is it? Politics I thought was supposed to be about what and how a candidate intends to do to make his or her country better off by earning the votes of the people they represent. Today tactics are much different where they stop at nothing to dig up or fabricate their opponent\'s dirty laundry and throw them under the bus. Politics has gotten way out of control. 🫤 Great write soren.

Soren, Soren, Soren – you know this is not what the whole debate, loosely labeled ‘Political Correctness’ by those who do not like the original idea is about.
So the concept that language shapes our attitudes, the way a culture places its elements is long debated.
The most simple and obvious example (which should lead you to determine which side you are on) is that of ‘Chairman’: Argument – term excludes in people’s minds women from the role. Response from the other side (that you?) ‘Nah, rubbish- but if you must, we will use the term ‘Chairperson’ so we can continue to keep up our conservative backlash intact’.
For my money, ‘Chair’ would have done the job. (That’s me!)
