Brilliant!
a worded utopia of introspection\'s ideal
(\'I am a victim of introspection\'
Sylvia Plath)
so tread carefully, wise Poet
as you thread selfhood\'s insights
within imagination\'s, poetic
..sight
\'All fears exorcise and hope baptize\'
never forget, our Amygdala inheritance
is our salvation alarm, in this
dulling daily routine trappings
of repressed unease..
stay sharp
think wide
and let your perspective\'s scope
zoom-in,
only on that which you deem worthy
of your precious time, in this
our ephemeral lives...

I definitely got a feeling from your lines of the way our language renders our perception of reality; I do think you\'ve made your point there, Soren. Smoothly done.
Last line: Were you referring to production or socialisation?

\'and the brook’s dancing water
whisper to me lovely portents\'
seductive imagery
there is a cadence of grace in these words
as if Gaia herself blessed your ink..

Eternity
Doggerel Dave said:

Seems like it, Soren - those four elements in the right combination in a very specific location/orbit round our sun.. ‘Goldilocks zones’, it has always seemed to me in all probability exist everywhere. Let’s hope that other sentient beings taking advantage do a better job of appreciation and conservation than earthlings here….
Nicely worked logic in poetic form.

We\'ll fox \'em, baffle \'em maybe.
If it was a Big Bang - who caused it?! heehee.
It can\'t be that everything just \'happens\', without some Being in control - so I say.

even reading your relationship disharmony, hopefully only momentary
is it wrong
I\'m still jealous, you\'ve been granted
the wondrous privilege of parenthood...
not all of us are so lucky my wise friend
remember that, next time you sigh

But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.\'\'

Awakening
L. B. Mek said:

\'Here the inverted solar pendulum oscillates, swinging its refining forge to its peak, pouring molten gold from it\'s crucible.\'

\'His repose reveals the hour when the stitching of the clouds are rent asunder, spilling, from those pockets of the milky way\'
(just a privilege to share this inking journey with you
watching your artform evolve

Wow! My head is reeling from the very scope of this masterpiece. The richness and texture all consuming with every stroke of the masters brush, for it becomes a sensory experience as he draws such imagery from his palette. Brilliant!

Breathtaking and lovely in its modesty and packed with allusions that trigger the reader\'s imagination and memory. Very little commentary, just the flow of the narrative and the universal humanity and vulnerability shared at the end. Wonderful!

Bigguy nailed it... a lot of modern verse is so stuffed with images and unexpected words it has little clear meaning or tone... this is mesmerizing and coherent and so sonorous it\'s perfect. I\'m saving this one.
