The sweetness of your words soothes the soul, and creates beautiful images in the mind. The second stanza begs to be read again, and again. A true work of art, dedicated to the capital of arts.

What a beautiful place, your slumberbash! The picture, the stuff dreams are made of. Beautiful dear Teddy. The perfect pick-me-up I needed today.

Your way of poeticising contradictions very much in evidence here, Teddy. The most helpful of reassurance is the simple advice/information that it will get better or less intense in the end. Very humane. Thanks for another good \'un.

The metaphor is a clear sign indeed but in the winds and rain (tears) of grief we can get lost. I am glad you found the road with light.

Very good words Teddy and I am sure that many on this site will crew that boat so that nothing bad happens when you sail on the ocean of joy.

Without a mast, you need a motor. Good set of metaphors. All ships have a crew, so one must be implied.

Full of metaphorical agony. And since I\'ve always claimed to not understand metaphor, I\'m going to stay with that but hope you don\'t tear yourself apart but charge forward and give us more poems.
(This one\'s OK even๐)

Love is not only at the top but also at the bottom. It is the underlying foundation of all things, what holds reason up and keeps meaning standing. So if you look you will find it top and bottom, inside and out. Loved the poem Teddy

Loved these lines that though simple seemed so much to belong to each other like pieces of a puzzle and one piece of logic that follows another. Very nice Teddy.

A beautiful tribute to not only a city but in metaphor a person.. This write filled with near rhymes, irregular stanzas that fit so well still carrying the flow and meter are a triumph in and of themselves, but more than this is the poetic form of the piece itself that has a feel so enchanting and well written that it takes me to the location itself. Charming and very professionally written.
