SPRING SUNRISES ~ An Acrostic Sonnet
swingline said:
My sun rises when I have coffee . Even if it\'s still dark outside . Yes I did see sunrise this morning . A day after a cold front with cold temps and severe clear skies .

Love them both Brian. Unfortunately, a lot of weather that will keep them hidden all this coming week. At least I can look at your picture and words.

RAINBOW OF ROSES !
swingline said:
Our roses have been blooming since late March . We went through a four week drought and they showed it but the rains have returned and so has the color . . . Red ! It seems to be so hard growing roses of other colors other than red . But I like all the colors even the black rose which is actually a dark red rose . (Correct me if I am in error) But I plant them on top of dead fish I catch (they were alive when I caught them) and the results are staggering . I guess you can see I was enthused by your poem .

Beautiful poem, Brian! I love sending flowers. I may not be as educated on the colors, I send what the heart tells me. (of course I\'ll look it up next time) Hugs--Christina

Thanks for the guide to the colors. I never knew about this until years into my life when buying flowers for Mother\'s Day. And, what a color can mean relative to a Mom who as passed on. I am sure that applies to other occasions. It is very interesting... a true Science. Thanks Brian for the info.

A fine write. The only \'rainbow\' or ring-of-roses we don\'t want is the ones from the days of the plague! Children merrily go on singing it, then the ghastly background to the song is explained to them!

Being with persons that are alike you is often boring, men and women are different; there are two sexes because God is intelligent, ... we are after His image, ... we need diversity, otherwise we would die of boredom. (:

TRUE LOVE IS DIVINE ! A SONNETT
Lydia Black said:
The Bible indeed inspires the most beautiful love poems.
I wish you would give the poem its seriousness with a black font and more of a serous \'poem design, I thought it would be something on the funny side because of the design you have chosen.
Do forgive the correction. Otherwise, a beautiful poem, psalm 151.

I must say that your profile picture sent me to believe of religious connotations, which would not be bad, I myself love God, only that He is sometimes badly represented, and I am bored by such \'advisers.
It is clear that you are a well read writer, and I wonder if you have published any book with your poems. I will be reading more from you; I must especially appreciate \'Carnival, as you send me to my passion, \'anime. Rarely does one paint with words, but you indeed impose an image upon the reader. Beautiful!

I am not a skilled writer. My techniques and phrasing is all raw and rough. I may learn a thing or two from you. I have enjoyed your writings. I too love nature and everything she has to offer me. There was a time where I was rather lost (emotionally) and when I drove by this field a lone tree stood proud. That moment changed me. I found peace in the chaos that was my life. I found the path to finding myself. Their are few that would understand that. She is my spirit that i must follow.

SO many people advert their eyes to our damaged earth. While there may be a cycle that she is going through, we are hurting her more and more every day for the sake of our \"progress\". We are killer her and therefore ourselves.

Good poem- my favourite is 3. Do you know about the psychological links with the number 3? (And that 4 is the only number that has the same amount of letters in it to its value?) hehe

The song 40 shades of green is not true, experiments have shown the the number of shades of green are infinite. Like the song though especially the Johnny Cash version.
