Hello. Interesting work. I was in a wood somewhere, wandering along, thinking about death and how I wouldn\'t want to die all alone, when I met this chap (a chap is a bloke) who told me that he dreamed just of that; dying alone in nature. I had to smile.

Do you feel better now? They say writing is theraputic and you appear to be quite depressed. I hope it helped getting this off your shoulders.
LOL just kidding, nice interpretation of what it must feel like to be one of life\'s unfortunates.

Wow! Jason, the reader is certainly able to feel that revenge.

Those who live by hate and envy always reap the rewards of the unjust.

A great poem with a significantly strong message.

Thanks for sharing :-)

A compelling read Jason - -so true that life goes on and that death is a mere opposite to birth - as part of the permanent there can never be an opposite to life -- your poet\'s mind wrapped the subject up well - - best wishes my friend for the festive season.

The problem I have with your truly excellent dialogue, is that you leave no room for the reality that similarly to other ancient history, the Bible is a record of the past. I believe myself, that the past helps to shape who we are today. It is wise, and it helps to instruct the present population what mistakes have been made so they donā€™t repeat it. I donā€™t fully understand the word of God all the time, but I know there is a a better way to present it than what evangelists have often done. What I think is a mistake too is considering the Bible as something that aims to trick people. Man has his own will. Man is capable of deciding for themselves what is good and what is not. Closing your mind to the entire goal that it has might be a loss. The reality I find in reading the Bible is that it actually aims to expand the mind. It is full of poetry. Often poetry as you can see on this website, helps us to see the world and God more clearly through its artful expression. I donā€™t wish to argue over the Bibleā€™s place in your life, but donā€™t dodge those who have chosen to live by it and find wisdom and instruction by it. I suppose the argument that I am going to make is that the Bible is not small minded, but quite the contrary in todayā€™s society, and throughout history.

A most interesting muse with much goings on and how you awesomely reflect and think with ink and jot down your thoughts fabulously. I too heard of Jesus not being born in December since it was a sun worshippers day of ancient pagans. I was admiring and nodding at each line, then the word play in the beginning wow sounded cool. Eloquent musing indeed. Kudos.

Jason,

Iā€™m in total agreement with Kevinā€™s comments!

This powerful write evokes so many truths! I sincerely enjoyed the read! Youā€™re right...the proof is in the pudding...and NOT in the instant one!

P.S. - You may want to edit the typo ā€˜theirā€™ in the phrase ā€œtheir in the puddingā€.
