Wind-Demons.

i really enjoyed reading this fay .. .i love how you referred to the wind as some \'\' ravenous beast \'\', scaring people , making them want to hide.
these lines stood out for me and were my favourite !
the night heaves
with zealous wind-demons cavorting
in lace-caps, sandy-socks,
grit-filled ribbons
and the saltiest long seaweed frocks.
brilliant wording fay .. love this

Loved this and especially: They stood in awe
of what they knew had begun,
for outside of time
they learnt nothing but new.
What a wonderful line Fay!

Thanks FAY for your ever new and inventive Poets touch ! Who would have thought that the mechanical refraction of white light into (R O Y G B I V) by the prismatic raindrop ~ could ever stir such poetical musings ! But it did because FAY saw it ! Thanks for a remarkable POEM # from the pen of a very elegant Lady. I have a vision FAY of you writing all these awesome Odes on vellum with a quill pen ~ before moving into the 21st C and sharing them with us lesser Poets on your vintage PC ! Thanks for caring & sharing ~ Yours as always BRIAN. Please check my 14 Stations and my new Fusion CHOCOLATE ~ thanks B.

A fine write Fay. Erm, I can\'t say the third line properly after a drop or two of s-s-s-sherry! (I\'m almost tee-total really).

my first ever job when I left school was working with my father who owned two trawler boats at the time. I spent 5 years waving over the ocean and the sensation is great. a lot of memories for me in this poem of yours. great tribute to those men, and women too.

An exquisite write, my dear Fay!
Your usage of such great metaphors to tells us about the seasons makes your poem come alive! I can clearly visualize the changing of the seasons! I love the last stanza! It makes me want to get up and dance!
