Smitten with your language, as always.
\"Smut-red lips of sultry sun kiss\"
Get outta here!! Just strangling every atom of beauty and dipping the quill in its residue. A stunner.

Beautiful poem Fay, the second stanza just blew me away. We have these incredible mornings when the sun rises over the Koolau Mountain range in the east painting the clouds from pink to dark red. The same spectacle sometimes repeats the same day when the sun disappears behind the Waianae mountains in the west.

I think you really entered into this moment Fay, and it shows. I don\'t think hanging around the edges works - if you want to write it you really need to buy into the feeling of the tale.

Well done.

Faye you transported me back to my childhood. I can still feel the warm frothing milk I sometimes got straight from a cow. Beautiful poem. I feel sorry for all the kids today who don\'t have a clue about where the milk really comes from.

Thanks for your write. It came to me that soon we will be on hurricane season in Florida. The storm inside us roars many more times then the weather storms.

this brings back my memories of when I left school and started working for my father on his 2 fishing trawlers. I was 16 then and am 47 now but the storms we rode sometimes were very scary, fascinating and to watch the sea rise as the weather toughens up is a fear from God. we had many a lucky escape but am here to tell the tale of the deep @crash and cry\' as you put it. thank you for this lovely poem and the dangerous sea all around us. I love it.

ingratiates have been long obsessed, I love this sentence, trying to flatter someone or making the efforts to keep them pleased. a good sentiment if its the right one at the time. this is a brilliant piece of work filled with thoughts provoking to make sure every line is understood with the array of fantastic words you have chosen. can\'t wait to read your next one because i hope its just as amazing as this one. well done, Fay Slimm.

Your poem requires much of nature\'s gift. I tend to settle on simple appreciation ... but then that could be explained by a simple mind, couldn\'t it? Well done, again, Fay!
