Are you thinking about suicide?
Goldfinch60 said:

The one thing that I have always had in my life is that I listen to people and people do come to me just to talk knowing that I WILL listen and not just hear them. I have found that on the majority of occasions when people talk to somebody who listens (cares) as they talk the remedy for there problem comes from without them without any need for advice. Talking to people who listen is so cathartic and in one instance of somebody talking to me it prevented them from committing suicide, all I did was listen.

I entirely agree with the points of view already mentioned by each of my reviewing predecessors..

Namely that this delightful poem is not only beautifully crafted, but is pleasing to the eye too.... and .. you have already been away too long... Neville

Poetic Dan said:

They say home is where you\'re missed and this you\'ll truly be it!
But what an outstanding write to take a break
I wish I had more words to say everything will be okay

But I\'d offer a tea with biscuits and shoulder
If you was ever my way!

Thank you
For everything you gave
Perfectly as your are!

Hopeful
Fay Slimm. said:

The chorus appeals as it has musical undertones - and my favourtie verse is - -- River rushes revealing reflections
But I donā€™t know my face
Aching fingers destroy the vision
Darkness, my friend and last embrace. It could be a fine soulful number with a bit more tweaking Sylvia - at least in my simple opinion that is.

this is an incredibly well written extract from an incredibly well crafted and much larger piece of work methinks.... It has a magical poetic quality rarely encountered and If I had written it, I would be very pleased with myself.. very pleased indeed..... Neville

Circumstances makes one a prisoner of unimaginable situations, and unless one experiences likewise, it is difficult to comprehend the sadistic hold you so composed.
Take flight, your true self, and find a way to be earnestly free.
