While it is true that being old requires a higher level of body maintenance than earlier, there are still plenty of periods when \"the gift is right now\" and I enjoy them without reservation - I\'m not striving for anything, I\'m there. I worry no more what people think of me, I\'m happy and content to have had a varied and interesting life.
So stay the course - you will enjoy it when you arrive, I guarantee.

and people in it, are too broken
to begin contemplating, a solution
but
this I promise you, wise Poet
when we are true to ourselves
and choose empathy\'s kindness
and wisdom\'s humbleness
our day to day, becomes
so much easier to traverse
and within Poesy, we\'re afforded
the clearest reflection of ourselves
so we ink
to free our crimson pulses, ink
of all those wersisome worries
and thouts
and on
one scribbled truth
and glimpsed, wisdom
at a time
we pave a path, for veracity
to ease our burdens in life..

and remember
to enjoy the ride, this rollercoaster
existence, has us investing
our tomorrow\'s
before, we\'ve taken stock
of our yesterday\'s
to insure
