We dunno if it was an apple for Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden - it doesn\'t say in the Good Book.
May have been a pear, orange, banana, whatever.....

A fine write Dusk. I thought the title was gonna be about my singing. Some wish it would pass slowly into a shadow! lol.

Such a plaintive feeling of passing time in this slow lament for lost youth and all its innocent pleasures - those last lines make this mind sigh as I read of that a long ago angelic kiss. First rate writing my friend.

We might never imagine that we could experience another pandemic in our life, and here it is, right there. Can\'t do anything about it. What will we learn? I guess nothing. Soon those who survived, will forget about it as if nothing happened. A fine writing.

Oohh I dunno - I\'m having fun. See me in me back garden, dancing round me May pole? And see my Morris dancer costume too? Is it fetching?!

This box is too big. I can\'t get out of it. How will I ever think outside of it, and be un-conforming?! heehee.

A long time since I heard Cat - - thanks for sharing him Dusk - your verse echoes the finality of bruised relationships - - your prose makes an intriguing read.

Conformity is all very well but stepping \'outside the box\' brings wonderful unplanned times for us all.

Always liked Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam.

I strongly believe dreams to be an ‘alternate reality’ or maybe I am living my alter egos dream, but neither match up to your poetic essence.

BRIAN HERE - Good Morning DA ! I had thought of doing similar but you cant improve on Perfection ! Love the VIDEO VERSION you chose its very dynamic. Your Poetic tribute to Captain Tom (they should promote him to Major Tom) is very grahic & covers all aspects - Angela & I will sing a Duet to it tonight ! Captain Tom has inspired us all to stop grumbelling about COVID 19 & LOCKDOWN and get out there & do something for the NHS. I have raised a modest sum (in a Collecting Box labelled NHS = Nice Helpful Souls) by shopping & pruning for Pensioners etc. For me as a Scouse exiled in Essex - The recording of *You*ll never walk Alone* with MB & the Nurses Choir - was the icing on Toms 100th Birthday Cake - when it reached *TOP of the POPS* - and still will be on THURSDAY ! Tom has two Guiness Records 1. Highest Sum (£30+ M) raised by an Individual 2. Oldest Person (100) to be *Top of the Pops* beating Tom Jones 68 by 32 years. Capptain Tom still keeps on Walking !

Peace & Joy & Love to You & Yours

As elusive and unfathomable dreams are, do artists and poets not always try to capture them in words and paint? To make them true? I think they help us to see.
