You know old Orchi\'s trying to wear this cap that\'s too big for him. He can\'t see where he\'s going. Doh!

Almost got me Neville I think I have left visual field neglect. Almost missed the two for one special. Hats I have many and switch them all the time. I have to admit that some don\'t serve me well and I don\'t look good in others so I pass them off there are even some that I keep and don\'t wear. As for that whiskey sour I love em and hate when they are too bittersweet, Nicely done.

But if you is still \'ere, can\'t be nothing much wrong with your PC...

However, technical issues aside, your premium page entry here does highlight a common phenomenon, to whit promotion or elevation to a level above the proud wearer\'s level of competence..... Economic considerations sometimes complicate the issue......

Thanks for the freebee, Neville. 😊

This reminds me of grammer school during the cold war when we had drills of hiding under our desks for a neuclear attack as if that would do any good.

I do like your two for the price of one days Neville. Nothing like a bargain.

Your Cryo Babes, makes me shiver. I really don’t approve of the meddling that is already going on, yet alone what is around the corner. I can only say, that I am happy, I am not going to be around to see it all. It is positively scary. It is totally unethical in my book.

As to The Hurting Game, this comes across as very competitive. I think it’s a good idea to call a truce and take a breather. I would imagine that this scenario is perfectly common place in some households. Not my ideal, but hey whatever works for some. Best kiss and makeup by bedtime:)

Have a happy Thursday.

A fascinating piece, Neville. You really paint the picture, convey the emotion, and the last line just nailed it, mate. A fine write.

I\'m sure glad you included that statement about the two being not related or I would have been all day scratching my head. The first is a most interesting thought that had not occured to me before. Maybe people won\'t believe in parenthood in those days. The second I can feel as if I had said it myself. Nicely worded

So two responses, Neville:
- I personally find all reproductive technology pretty repulsive. I am much in harmony with this one.
- A recognizable dynamic in some relationships I have observed…
I felt comfortable with those two – they felt real in their implied rebukes.

Hiding out in the open. Yes indeed I took this for more than just a relationship gone bad but something more hiding out in the open. The litteral story is one of coldness and I felt this in the poem\'s construction and wording. It gave me chills.

In a poem that got colder by degrees as I read through, there was a surprising upturn in the final lines. A poem of contrasts between then and now. The warmth is so much kinder on the soul. The cold is callous. I have always hated winter. You convey emotion so very well here Neville. Have a beautiful day my friend.

We\'re cold here emotionally at times - shivery - a time of grieving.
Not hard-hearted, but some of us could not bear to stay long with a loved one when in hospital, not that he was in pain exactly, but suffering.

Fine words Neville, I too have come across young people like that and I have this ability to help them by just listening, it doe not sound like much but if they know that you are really listening to them they keep speaking and the problems they have come to them and they realise what they are and tend to get over them themselves.
