Always Home By The Night
L. B. Mek said:

Lovely write dear Poet, so relatable
(We\'re all, so illogically drawn
to those capricious elements
in our lives, chasing
while meanwhile, there\'s usually
a steadfast presence by our side
we take for granted
assuming ease of access, denotes
lack of worth...
that fallibility in our nature, exposed
so blatantly)

I Never Chose To Be Rude
L. B. Mek said:

dear Poet
do you know, what that \'A\'
in our DNA, stands for...?
that\'s right, built-in
right into our inherited
survival traits
is our natural, component
of acid, intent
that silence, as our acidic
tool
we have it in us, to utilise
our self contained, choice
to fight
wordlessly...!

Little Daughter
L. B. Mek said:

this be worded excavation
of that excruciating tightrope in parenthood
are children
born for a parent\'s approval and enjoyment?
or
are they a gifted surprise, free to be who they want?
a human being, an adult
in the making
and parent\'s, mere guardians
entrusted to help and nothing else..
such a well considered and intimate poem
thank you! wise poet
\'I didn\'t mean you to look down on your fellows
But having that fairer pride
By sticking to your own values\'

\'Rather, let thy brain be
A true foundation of good investment

Should you, think of following the world
Remember you are so unique\'

Come Into Light
L. B. Mek said:

divide light by veracity
do you assume a resultant, night?
or fractions of light
like sunrays, that cascade upon
sunglasses
eager to dim, what gaiety we\'re afforded
by nature..
do no be too, hasty
dear youthful vehemence
seek questions, more
than life\'s certainties, for one
affords, scope
while the other, closes doors
and narrow\'s horizon\'s corridors...

Testing Samples
L. B. Mek said:

(such a meaningful write, dear poet)
we dig for gold
in fields of ideology\'s
nuclear wastelands of hope,
fighting each other
for each shard of horizon, we glean
devoid of life\'s suffering cadence
..
\'More extinction mines in town
Its minerals extracted for samples
Still confused,\'
but, still
there is yet grace in our fallible humanity
we need only, find a way to prevail
and believe
that those who follow us
may eventually
learn from our cyclical, mistakes
before
mother earth, gives up on us...

Maybe Abuse Of Power
L. B. Mek said:

Brilliant!
(maybe, but more likely
you see, far too clearly
to word your wisdom, accessibly
and so, misunderstandings
undermine
the power of your message
but only for some
rest of us, will read and read again
till we can elevate our awareness
to your insightful levels
and maybe
we too, can appreciate
what power, awaits
in each and every, choice
we make in life...)

I Just Want to Know
L. B. Mek said:

its not that complicated
merely barbaric, monstrosity
warping
proximity or smile
dance or a short skirt
drunk or asleep
and on, as excuses blurring fact
veracity
is instinctive, no room to hide
within futile defences;
taking advantage of another
be it male, female or other
is a most vile crime of nature
a window
to showcase an individual\'s
pathetic-ness
as a life\'s legacy of inhumane
irrelevance...!

Love Yourself
L. B. Mek said:

\'If you are not afraid to hurt yourself
Tell me how you will hate to hurt another\'..
there is so much wisdom in these lines!
a great write, dear Poet
and it is all, so
infuriatingly simple
we scurry around, in our life
fighting for nothingness
dreaming of dreams
and we chase, despairingly
for what we\'ll soon forget;
and we ignore, that
which stays with us
every step of our lives
ourselves!
and most of the hate, we
aim at others
is born from our internalised
frustrations
we regress by repressing
being too scared to confront our weaknesses and pain,
so-as to mend and heal
ourselves...

Don\'t Keep Me Waiting
L. B. Mek said:

Brilliant!
I shall cherish that first stanza for such a long time
such a deeply poignant
and relatable theme of human fragility
unfurled, in such accessibly choice wording...

Endless Pain
L. B. Mek said:

(if you had ended your poem on:
\'this pain won\'t cease\'
I would have favourited this poem
but those last three lines
were not needed I felt
a little - too, repetitive
in poetic art
as in most of life, less
is more)
saying all that, i still think
this is a great write!
with a little refinement
this may be the best work I have read from you
\'yet\'
and that\'s saying a lot, dear Poet
thanks for sharing

Love Again
L. B. Mek said:

totally agree!
this speaks to that the biggest lie
people tell themselves about love
the one , where
\'Love\' is a tool, to help them feel
better
and find that centred
serene, wholeness or completeness
in their life..
expecting, their partners to be magical workers
who arrive complete, as perfect
half\'s of existence\'s puzzle
when
we/they themselves, enter
into a \'mutually\' loving relationship
as a complete emotional, wreck
then wonder, why
it never seems to work out...
love, at its core
is a trade, or an exchange
if you can\'t carry, your half of the weight
then you must have a plan, in place
or else
once all that chemistry flame and
passion
die down, it will all be dying embers
all over again...
(in my humble, yet opinionated
opinion)
lol
