Without A Beating Heart
Emilou G. said:

You left me no time at all, To say my goodbyes ....... many times the most unexpected happens when we think it is far from happening. And though it seems impossible to survive, in HIS most perfect time, you will be able to move on. ...........SMILE! THE DAY IS GOD'S NEW GIFT!

Masquerade
Cheeky Missy said:

Beautifully expressed and very, very sad. Your symbolism and metaphors of cowering and jar of tears, headless flower, faded sun and merely jester, excellently depict the situation. Shared by many, doubtless, unfortunately. Very well expressed.

Without A Beating Heart
Cheeky Missy said:

Very good for "just throwing something together"! This depicts the heartache very well with the metaphor of colourless photos for the memories and vibrant colour for the recent violent wrenching grief, with the symbolism of a heart not beating depicting the death of everything, especially the speaker. Great job.

Marvelous! What an eerie, chilling, horrifying depiction of dying! Wow. Excellent!!! Awful, though for the frightening consideration. Well-written. This is one of your best pieces, seems to me and yet so horrifying. Bravo.

Sometimes

I know the exact feeling; like we could just melt inside life through the universe of nature around us and dwell in our dreams.
I love it!!!!! Great Poem.

Hmm. Delightful use of "sometimes" with all the depictions of freedom and enjoyment of the natural world. I quite enjoyed the scenes you used to express this pleasure in nature. Very nicely written.

Cracked and Crumpled
Cheeky Missy said:

Excellent and so poignantly expressed! Beautifully done! You depicted it so very well, all the little details expressing the charming love and endearing experiences....delightful! Fantastic double usage in the title, poem and conclusion of cracked and crumpled... heart and paper...dreams, lover. Lovely!

It’s beautifully written and I congratulate you in the deepest sense.

Little Black Shoe
Cheeky Missy said:

Delightful ode to that precious little black pair of shoes! Your author's comment was further helpful in enjoying it. But the apparent "luck" it seems to bring is a lie. This was indeed a fun little piece...you could have titled it even more enticingly and too truly something like "Ode to the Little Black Shoe". Very nicely written and cute....each of your five stanzas honoring it differently and making a beautiful tribute to a simple pair of "little black shoe[s]....I enjoyed it.

Last Pieces
Cheeky Missy said:

Fascinating, with a beautifully sweet conclusion. How, though, if brought to the "Disregard Wasteland" does she meet a saviour....or is it rather that his hand in hers, the "last pieces" of the puzzle as you so well put it, offering the love and family, delivers her out of the "Disregard Wasteland"? The verbal image was very well drawn with your symbolism. Lovely, I enjoyed it.

Swan Song
Cheeky Missy said:

Wow. Impressive....this is excellent. I love how you presented it as a swan song, and wove it so beautifully from start to finish....almost as a wave rising and then falling....so very lovely and bittersweet....the imagery is perfect. Delightful!
