Dearest poet, your words hit hard and justly. You have expressed eloquently in this poem, and in your comments, the plight that has befallen us all. In my own USA, the principles our government was founded on have long since gone by the wayside, there is no will to work together and the clock is ticking on so many problems. The Republicans who have been staunch climate change deniers from day one, now talk about planting a trillion trees as an answer, but don\'t touch fossil fuels or reduce carbon emissions. Whatever we who vote can do, we will do, and hope that all reason and intelligence is not lost. Such a great write, you truly lit a fire here. An absolute fav!!!

No danger of it here in UK - though it\'s pleasantly warm and summery.
We want it hotter, then when it\'s hot we want it cooler, and so on. Doh!

Such true words Ben, art is being overtaken by wanting money by those who can only see profit and not the beauty that artists of all types can bring to us.

A great write my friend, and so very true. It seems the easy buck replaces everything these days. There are so many great writers e, wasting time and talent on what is sellable, instead of what is worth while. I think I\'d rather have nothing than tripe. I agree wholeheartedly, this is truly a fav.

I believe that in our world 99% of people and things that happen are good but all we here about is the 1% that is bad.

It is a challenge to \"turn it off\" so thanks for the encouragement. Our passivity and unconscious reception of what others choose to place before our eyes is insidious as well as what they choose to show us, usually for clicks, ads, and generally to addict us.
